As previously announced, Kolkata Municipal Corporation Mayor Firhad Hakim inaugurated the bio-toilet bus for women. On this day a modern women's toilet bus was inaugurated in front of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. A large number of women Trinamool councilors were present. Various services are being provided for women in this state-of-the-art bus. On one side there is bio toilet for women and on the other side there is breast feeding room and changing room for women.
Earlier, Mayor Firhad Hakim had given information about this bus. As per that promise, this bus was sent for service today. This bus will travel to different parts of the city including densely populated areas including office blocks and market areas. Many times women face difficulty in using toilet while going out for work. Many times, when he went out with the child, he had to face problems. For their convenience, Kolkata Municipal Corporation has arranged this bio toilet bus service.
